Gift Tabletop Is Revived With Handcrafted Items That Review the Artist’s Hand

This spring, Rosanna is reinvigorating giftable tabletop with collections that revel in hand-painted art and organic forms that harken from the potter’s studio.

“The homeware customer is discerning and curated in their taste,” says Rosanna Bowles, President and Art Director of Rosanna. “When they choose items for their home, the items must be of excellent quality and show the handcrafted aspects of the pieces, and be beautiful and durable as well.”

Humans have harvested and relished the fruits of the ocean since ancient times. Our Oceania collection celebrates the ocean’s bounty by bringing the crisp brine, delicate salt flavors, and decadent textures of the ocean to the table. The bowls, plates, and dipping dishes showcase lush hand-painted art of the bounty of the sea in organic forms that are glazed in a semi-matte glaze. Every piece comes in a beautiful gift box with an insert card that celebrates the ocean and encourages us all to eat seafood that’s caught and farmed sustainably.

Bloom features hand-painted watercolors in vibrant tones scattered across the hand-hewn pieces of studio pottery that echo an artist’s atelier. This collection gives us the opportunity to live closer to nature by bring-ing it into our homes. Items come with an insert card that explains the meaning behind certain flowers. Bloom consists of pedestals, stones with messages that lift us up, trays, dishes, flower vases, bowls, and a mug. The stones are handpicked from the Rogue River in Oregon and sandblasted by a small family business owned by Native American veterans.

Mixing and matching are very popular in tableware right now. Epicurean is comprised of appetizer plates that are designed with layering in mind, helping consumers to create a stunning tablescape. Each appetizer plate includes an insert that encourages us to indulge in something a little lavish, such as buying yourself a lovely bouquet or going out on the town in your ritziest dress.

“Appetizer plates are the new it gift as millennials settle into domestic life with new families,” states Bowles. “Layering in tabletop is just as valid in the home as it is in fashion.”

Votes For Women celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Nineteenth Amendment, with which American women won the right to vote. The mugs and trays in Votes For Women feature original art from the American women’s suffrage movement. With the anniversary quickly approaching, this line was designed to honor a significant milestone in the history of the United States. The insert placed in every gift box educates the reader on the journey of women getting the right to vote and highlights a number of women that were instrumental in this victory.
