Getting Nasty, Being Bossy, Voting Female
Jan 05, 2017 | 0 Comments
More than ever, it's time for women, ladies and girls to stand together. Time for voices to be heard and demands to be met.
One of the missions of Rosanna is to empower and educate young women and make a difference in their lives and the lives of future girls who will one day be told they're "really bossy" or, dare I say, "Nasty."
This month, Rosanna is joining together to support the Women's March on Washington. On Jan. 21 at 10 AM, women aross the country will join together and march in major cities to show solidarity and make it clear that these voices will be heard. From Jan. 4 through Jan. 22, the Ladies Choice collection will be 10% off, with free shipping and a portion of each sale will be donated to Planned Parenhood.
The Ladies Choice collection was born years ago from this fire within us - the fire to be heard and stand with women. To let everyone know that for us, Ladies come first. This March, we're launching "You Go Girl," a collection dedicated to the brilliant women leaders, artists and thinkers from history to today.
It's easy to feel disheartened at times. It's easy to feel like you're running in circles, but from 1848 when a group of women gathered for the first time to discuss women's rights in Seneca Falls, NY, to a female presidential nominee, we've come far.
There's still a long way to go.
Currently, women still earn 78 cents to every dollar a man does. In a country made up of more than 50% women, our public offices are still ran by 75% male officials. Only about 19% of public elections even have women as candidates.
Don't even get me started on luxury taxes.
Every You Go Girl purchase will directly help women in need. A percentage from each sale will be donated to Planned Parenthood. Each piece also comes with an educational insert about women's sufferage, social status or legal rights.
From the Nasty Woman mug to the Votes for Women tote, let the line speak to and inspire you to go forward, be fierce and break down barriers. The glass ceiling is too thick for one person - Let's start smashing it together.
